SHS SYMBOL

  • Through the years of experience and with the return of our former students who always express how their academic training and coexistence during their school years at SUMMER HILL, and how this training process has been linked to their lives; We decided to create a symbol that reflected what was expressed above.

  • This symbol/logo is represented by three ellipses, which all coincide at the same vertex or origin. The inner ellipse represents the first stage of the student's academic training, that is, pre-basic education, delimited by a line marked in yellow. Inside, the color blue reflects flashes of light, which signify values such as perseverance, respect, tolerance, creativity and excellence. Values that lead to the formation and construction of one's own identity.

  • The second ellipse represents the second and third educational stage, which is basic and secondary education, where the student has achieved his training both in his personality and in the academy and is ready to leave for his university life, it is delimited not with a line but by the person themselves, represented by the color white,

  • The last ellipse is the third stage where the student is no longer part of the institution, but their professional and personal growth is influenced by the entire educational experience received at Summer Hill, represented by the color yellow.

  • The basic concept of the logo is the following: “That from the moment one enters Summer Hill School, the permanent principles of academic excellence-values represented by the coincident vertex, form the student to become a responsible citizen who in turn coincides with the same starting point as SUMMER HILL.”
